Thanks, and woohoo just got the news that some parts are getting packed and ready to be shipped to Norway, tho the trip across the Atlantic, takes a month I got plenty of time to plan the build some more and order more parts.

Yeah thats what i ment lol.

Don't use a CVT with a tranny it will kill the CVT belt really quickly because the two pulleys changing all the time

You wont need a CVT, but something like it. AKA a jackshaft. Its basically a stationary CVT. You would use a normal front clutch and then one idler on the top belt. You could even use a chain on the top if you wanted. But if you want a reliable drivetrain, a CVT isnt the way to go.

Yeah, and the 20hp rated cvt is kickass, but expensive!

Ya he's got a point, maybe if you don't use the gears that much. But choose what gear before you start running. Idk, will see

I'm so glad I bought the Jonsered/ Craftsman, since there's tons of odd tiny bit odds and ends I realized I would need, but didn't have before.

And I really would like some sort of front suspension like an inch or so, but can't decide if and how.

A-arm type or easy 4-link. gah choices!

And it won't be 1 inch lol, that's to low. Need to be able to take it onto a dirt road with some bumps aswell.

Yeah i dont think you would want to bottom it out on a dirt road.

Not much news, just ordered more parts, needed to measure out the rest of the build.

so I needed a proper seat, Outlaw Lawnmower Race Seat

I also ordered some bearing hangers and pulleys from surplus.

Front, 4-link design. Already changed this, kingpin (built in camber) is only 10 degrees here (mixed it up with caster :p ) will increase to 14 degrees.

My Idea for the 3-pulley Racing clutch design.

Less moving parts, one sliding Pulley for actuation as the actual clutch, Ballbearing race.
