Finally got my Vintage 1967, John Deere 110 - Page 2 Empty

Its got a little bit of damage.
I would use a wire wheel on a grinder and clean up all the rust real good and then repaint it.

After welding this up to a decent thickness in some places and welded it in general and beating and heating it to about 1000c and harden it some ive finally handed it down to sandblasting.

But will have to order the JD paint from US aswell over here it was pricey as f^}^#!%!!!

So it's getting there.

Not enough flow / Volume from cans so it got that flat look. Should be glossy tho.

I know where there's a functional 116 for 100 bucks Doug... too bad you weren't closer eh? Smile

Now about the 110... that so far is excellent work cleaning it up and I bet she just gleams!

I was gonna do her all over but now I kinda like the old worn look and patina look aswell. So now I only restore whats needed.

The round fenders and pan seat are great. Nice work on the deck, you boss must enjoy it if you drive it around lol. One if my favorite models.

I went down today to do a Cold, Old start of the Ol' Lady, but she fired right up on the first go lol. - So no Cold start video then Very Happy
