| well, aint got much done lately, still waitnig on money to buy the coupler, got to put the bigger tires up front, if my rim is 6.5" how tall will a 20x10x8 tire be on it?

| Every inch wider your tire is then yoir rim you will get 1/2inch of hieght. Roughly

| thanks guys those front tires are only 16"s lol but i am puting 20"s on the rims cause those are the ones that came off the mtd gt, the rims are 6.5 wid, the tires are 10" wide, so they should be 21.5" tires, wich should make the front 1/2 a inch lower than the back | |

| small update, i got my 18 in tires on the front of dixie last week, hadn't thought about it to put it on here lol i did a cold start of dixie on video the other day, its the latest vid on my youtube and also the last one i posted on the mini chopper build, i got a application in with the boe and hopefully ill get that job, if i do i will buy the parts and get this and the ini done in about 1 1/2 week lol | |

Check out RWD full size GM cars from the late 70's and early 80's. They used a longer coupler with a universal joint ( maybe 2, can't remember) on the underhood section of the steering column/shaft. Should be able to hold up well, assuming lubrication can be taken care of. Found that it'd fit an input shaft for a transaxle with a bit of bevel added to the shaft, and/or some building up of metal for the 'big' end. late 80's gm FWD cars had something similar in the tilt portion of the column, shorter and smaller but also less sturdy. |

You could cut the center section out of your pully and weld it to the jack shaft setup. | |

| tried that, but by the time i welded it solid to my liking, it had warped the metal lol, i found a 3 in one on line and ima order it either this week or next
