thats a cool comcept. the one thing i dont like about rear engine mowers is tht fact tht you sit on top of everything which means a higher center of gravity. with your design yoh have almost eliminated tht problem.

placed the engine on so i can work on the clutch and pulley.

this is one of the xoolest mower build i hav ever seen

There is nothing new about the build I'm merely reinventing the rear engine rider with the big motor, big tire, flare of a monster truck.

The clutch engine tranny brakes and many other things will all be stock parts just in a different location and with a little square tube steel added.

Just wanted to update things as it has been mostly boring things not worth taking to many pics of. But the 6inch pully swap and weld on is done on both the motor and the tranny. I have a basic belt measurement to work with now so will pick that up and test fit that after temp bolting the engine in place.

On a not so happy note I discovered this mower doesnt have the original tranny and some one swapped it for a cheap pos spicer tranny. In the future this will have to be remedied but that is a 200.00 investment i just dont have right now.

Next to come Cop and drop and flip the frame. Then reinforce with a frame rail and solve the problem of the seat being wider then the frame.

You can pick up a used peerless off ebay for around 50 dollars.

I dont want just any peerless. If i have to replace it im going all out with an 820 and matching rims.

Steering has been fixed. Had to make a drive pulley so I did a how to on it.


Next on the list is the clutch and the brake and gas.
