belt - Belt size help Empty
PostSubject: Belt size help   belt - Belt size help Icon_minitimeJanuary 30th 2013, 5:22 pm

I just successfully completed a pulley swap on my Murray Very Happy . I replaced the old transaxle pulley with a smaller one. My old belt was a 37x87. I have to take 3 inches off of it to make it fit. Obviously you cant just cut and weld a belt back together so I need to know what I need for a replacement belt, don't know a lot about sizing of belts and whatnot and Google didn't help, any help at all would be greatly appreciated. If you know it needs 3" less then go to a hardware stroe and buy a 3" shorter belt.

This is sweet tool to calculate MPH and what your max/min pulleys can be.
