| I'm new. I'm from a town none of you have ever heard of, Hermon, ME. I've grown up around farming and spend a lot of time on my best bud's farm running tractors and what not. He's the one that got me into off road mowers. He has given me a lot of parts for my build, including my motor. I am a huge fan of Fearlessfront on YT and have learned a lot from him. He has been a great inspiration for me and the man is a GENIUS! He finds so many ways to do anything and make things work. I only wish I was that clever! I look forward to finishing my current project, a 2004 Murray select 17.5hp that my uncle gave me for nuthin'! 'cause it had a bad starter. I will be posting pics as soon as I get it done.

| Hi my name is Gene, Just want to say hello and thanks for letting me join the forum. I've always been a tinker-er and now I want to make a few mowers to enjoy with my grand kids. I am looking forward to reading all ya's info and help where someone has already been there and done that. I live down in south Louisiana. Thanks! | |

| Hey, I'm Gen from Norway, so far I've only watched YT videos of different builds and I love every aspect of your modified mowers, I'm not sure why it's so appealing? But it sure is. I'm soon getting my first own mower, a Vintage JD 110, 1967. It's not an Offroader tho but working on that. | |

| I've been trying to get in here forever and finally got this computer to get it right. I'm outside Farmville,NC. I'm building a Cub Cadet right now. 15HP Kohler, 20x9x8 tires on the front and about an 8 inch front lift, 7.60x15 Agri lug tread on the rear, Hydrostatic drive. It's still a little rough. I had a heck of a time building the adapters for the rear, but they are safe and solid. I have a few neat tools to work with if there's other near me that need some help. 9x42 well worn Bridgeport kneee mill, 15 inch swing, 1927 Model South Bend metal lathe, Mig welder, and also a Hypertherm 600 Plasma cutter. I also have the proper tooling for bending 1 inch tubing up to 180* on an 4 inch radius centerline. | |

| I forgot to mention I added golf cart front spindles with high speed bearings and the entine steering section. It has rack and pinion steering from an EZGO golf cart. I used everything but the axle itself. I fabbed everything else. | |

| Welcome to the forum! Sounds like you have a pretty good setup! Some guys might start asking you to bend exhaust pieces for them... | |

| I can if I have a die for the size pipe. Dies start around $250 and up. I have a Hossfeld #2 bender I converted to hydraulic. I have the 1 inch square tube, 180* 4 in. radius dies and one for some pipe about the size of your thumb. It's a 3 inch radius. I just saw your thread, I had no idea you could buy gear sets for riding lawnmower rear ends. I have a set of S10 car axles I'm going to make a set of hub flanges with a Chevy bolt pattern to fit a 1 inch axle. I'll cut them off at the bearing end and drill it 1 inch and have a local machine shop broach me a 1/4 inch keyway into the hardened axle. I want to build a LawnMower that looks like a slingshot dragster, N50x15's on the rear and a square tube front end with wire spoke wheels and still be able to mow grass.
