Hi all. I am not new here but, I should post something regardless. My old account goes by the username Ariens YT11 and a few years ago I lost my account info and I'm wanting to get back into doing things to my Poulan and thought I should get back on here. Hope to catch up with some old friends and make some new ones.
CG from Wyoming. Cheers

Welcome to ATLTF, feel free to start some threads over in the Rally and Offroad section for each of them. Pictures of what you have going on is a big help for forum members. If you need help with that check out the "how to upload pictures" link below in my signature.

Hey everyone, incredible forum you have! I'm amazed from just flipping around through the forums the tremendous amount of knowledge that's available here.
I'm a total beginner, but I really want to convert a mower into an off-road rig for casual use. I just blew the engine on my 1998? Craftsman V-Twin 19.5 HP. I had already mounted a pair of ATV tires on the rear, and then blew the engine (monkeying with the governor).
Looks like I'll just find another mower and start all over. I'll read up plenty before I ask any questions. I've got a lot to learn, but I've definitely found the right place.
Thanks to admin and staff for letting me in!

Welcome to ATLTF and feel free to start a build thread when you do over in one of the sections? I'm guessing Off Road & Rally Tractors!

New on the Forum Bob, from Hudson Valley New York about 1.5 hours from NYC. Still Learning and have a long way to go. I have a couple of Garden Tractors.
1. International Harvester Cub Cadet 1450 with Mower Deck, Snow Blower, and Blade, I Designed and Welded and Back Blade from an old Propane Tank to mate up with a Brinly Sleeve Hitch mount.
2. Bolens 900, with Snowcaster, Mower Deck (refurbished Mower Deck rebuilt the Spindles & Gear Box), will modify Wheel Horse 48” Blade that has a Manual Angling Bar. In the process of re-powering the Tractor, by removing the Wisconsin (damaged) SD8 engine and replacing it with a Briggs and Stratton 11HP engine, which is the same engine that's on the Bolens G-11 Tractor, which will fit onto the frame. The plan is to add Hydraulics, with independent front and rear lifts using a double spool with float.

my machine is most likely early 80's craftsman that i stole from KitchNraider's house about 10 years ago. it is a bush tractor. no modification to it yet, just tire chains and a broken grill from an impact with a tree. i have not pictures of it but it is not that exciting to look at anyway. i jumped on here to get some ideas on improving it on our bush property, hauling fire wood, dragging trees out of the bush, working in the Alberta muck.
thanks for bringing me onto the forum.
