The original color is orange, but someone had painted green over it. Seems kinda like what you've got. But the dash is really similar. That's something I haven't seen. Does yours have a lighter on it?

I could really use that grill right now lol the corner hing part on mine is broke Mad and its gunna be a pain to make it work lol

Wow $20? Not bad my friend lol. Its pretty tough to find good deals on mowers, most people want a forture for them and most times they need work. I like when you find one someone just wants off their property and its free haha

Ok, so what's the trick to those little wing nut clips that hold the hood down? One just spins and I can't get it loose.

Also, I've got a walk around vid I'm uploading to youtube right now.

All my dynamarks have fuel fillers thru the hood, BUT the '82 has the tank bolted to the hood - so i have to make sure theres not alot of gas in the tank when i pop the hood. Its sort of a pain to refuel them- i need a funnel to keep gas from going everywhere.

The hood pins on mine are thru the hood sides mounted to the dash sides - basically just a bolt sticking out - i dont use any sort of nut , the tension holds the hood on.

My '82 has a 3 speed that uses gear oil - same as in my agway - the other two have grease filled transmissions. I cleaned the grease out of my 88 kleen kut and stuff looked like nasty baby poo. Thats the biggest tractor of the 3- had a 18HP twin and 45" deck , its sitting right now till i can get back to redoing it.

Here's the walk around vid. If you look around 1:50, you can see the clips that hold the hood on.

Motor or more? I'm sure that there will be pictures and videos when I work on it.

It feels like there is a wire clip that the pin connects with on the inside. The pins have a diagnal slot on the shaft that I'm assuming is supposed to turn 1/4 of a turn to lock.

I haven't had a chance to look at it. Hopefully I'll get some sorta dry days in the 50's after christmas so I don't have to wait until spring.

The blue on the back looks like petty blue. I may have to do some research.

Another rare option is the 'pickup box ' mounted on back instead of rear fenders - heres what one would look like ( found that pic online):
