| I just posted an update myself because I had to rewire a mower today. It's on my site as the latest video | |

| Ok guys, I tried her out today, an pow, there goes the fuse. So I said to myself, forget it. I put a jumper wire in where the fuse should go. Tried it. And there was a flash and smoke and the jumper wire fried. Where do I go for here? | |

| You have something not wired right. We need to walk through each wire. Starting from your battery | |

| How is your kill switch wired? it should not go to a ground. It should be an ignition on and off and should power the coil and could run the shut off solenoid too. The engine is alternated and does not use a magneto kill system. | |

| Both of the engines used in mine, are wired the same. Both engines have alternators and are not magneto fired. I would scrap all the old wiring and start over using a diagram from a tractor that used that 2007 Briggs engine. | |
