| No one around here would even dream of shooting one that small.
But our deer up here get a lot bigger than that.

| Yeah, sadly, they don't get much bigger than this in my neck of the woods. I'm sure up in Canada, they get huge. In eastern VA, they don't get much larger then this. | |

| In SW VA, they're supposedly very big. Wish I lived in the mountains of SW VA. | |

| Good Cow! A nice trophy buck there. Yeah, another thing that ticks me off is where I live, you can hunt with a shotgun only. Plus, we have those freakin hunting dogs running deer around and making it harder for hunters like me to get something descent. | |

| HAHA. Either way, both are incredible bucks. I doubt I'll ever see anything that big here. | |

| We have a lot of empty space up north, and they get to grow a fair bit.
Hunting close to town is a lost cause since the local counties are getting too populated, and have banned shooting except with bows.

| Yep. That's why I wish I lived in a large piece of acreage in the Shenandoah mountains with no one around. No dogs running deer, and you can use practically anything you wish to hunt with. | |

| Yeah, I want the large piece of acreage too, believe you me. However, its a work in progress. | |

| The bigger the better, but the most I can really hope for is 80, at the far outside 160. depends on government grants. There is Homesteadable land here but it so far away and so north, its really un settleable. We run up to 10g an acre for residential, but we can buy farm land for 1000 an acre .Problem is we still have to work, and there is nothing close enough to commute.
Carbon credits is a future i've been watching.
Reforestation, trees. There are things going to be happening.

| H'm, ok. We have 58 with about 7 open. The rest is wooded. It's a nice piece of property. Got to remember to be thankful. | |
