agree if it was not for the exta cooling vents and the aerodynamics on the track id go with older hoods but older hoods crate more wind drag newer ones displace the air witch =less drag more downforce id be all over a older hood i woldent mind geting one of these newer hood just to use as a plug and make a 1 piece fiberglass or carbon hood

You should post some action videos of those machines... What kind of top speed can you hit on them?
Ours are more all around (race/offroad), but I'd like to see a straight racer run.
i have a off road mower on 33 supper swampers these are my tee american raceing mower associations spec built to the rules all the machines have tether kill switches and have a nice low center of gravity we race around oval tracks at about 45-50mph ill post a pic of our local track and some pics of me hot laping try tto dig up some vids but i need to tack to a few other racers to gather fotage

Lookin good! I'm also liking that design for the mower lifter bench. Might have to try that...
its so nice being able to work on mowers at a decent height my racers are 4 " off the ground and a bitch to work on the drive train i use this ever time i change a pully or any thing that requires unbolting stuff from under the mower got it built but not panted or ryno lined yet im a try to get a buddy to line X them after hours feel free to copy it the frame work is 1" box steel i have not seen a mower bench like this at any of the lawn and garden shops or any other shop i been it but ill tell ya what it sure is nice to have i built it out of scrap to so it was a free build besides the hitch pins and plywood the ramp come off so your not triping on them i also work on quads and gokarts on this bench it was the best highdea ever
